IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light.

IPL hair removal targets hair at the root, the powerful light puts the hair follicle in a dormant state, so the hair grows thinner and slower, and stops regrowth after regular treatments. When the light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle, it is converted to heat, interrupting the hair growth cycle and preventing hair regrowth.
IceTouch Technology

MoriiSkin's patented IceTouch technology is rooted in clinical sapphire contact cooling, which is one of the most effective cooling devices. Not only does it increase patient comfort and reduce side effects, but it also increases treatment efficiency.

Week 1 - 4

After 3 treatments a week, hair will grow back thinner, softer, and slower.
Week 5 - 12

To ensure every hair is treated during it's growth phase we recommend touch-ups every two weeks or once a month.
RESULT

After the full cycle the treatment area should be hair-free. IPL effectiveness can vary by individual, consistency with the recommended cycle is key to seeing the results you want.

Gel Cooling

Uses a layer of chilled aqueous gel applied to the skin before or during the laser/IPL treatment. It cools and protects the epidermis and reduces pain and discomfort. However, it can be messy, time-consuming and interfere with the light transmission.
Ice pack cooling

Uses a cold compress applied to the skin before or after the laser/IPL treatment. It reduces pain, swelling and inflammation and is easy and inexpensive to use. However, it can be messy, cause frostbite, skin irritation and uneven cooling.
Sapphire contact cooling

Uses a sapphire crystal integrated into the handpiece that contacts the skin during the laser/IPL treatment. It cools and protects the epidermis and reduces pain and discomfort. It also allows better light transmission than metal contact cooling.
